“Of Mans First Disobedience, and the Fruit Of that Forbidden Tree, whose mortal tast Brought Death into the World, and all our woe, With loss of Eden, till one greater Man Restore us, and regain the blissful Seat…”
John Milton

It is here, sitting at home surrounded by things familiar, that I wonder why the world is so foreign to me. How can the only place I have ever known seem like a distant world, a strange planet?

It is the quest for familiarity and deep resonance that drives me, and resets my focus, when clarity is muddied by afternoon shadows, long and brooding. It is the inner knowing of a paradise lost that informs my search for truth, and the possibility of a homecoming.
